About Us

He has steadily grown his fleet to help address the shortage of reliable disability transport and is well-known for his generosity and commitment to quality care. Garry has built his business entirely through hard work and word-of-mouth referrals, never relying on advertising—only on the trust of the people he serves.

What We Provide

Community Access

Caters for people with disabilities, providing activities, support and developmental training.

Our Disability Services day program activities have a strong focus on community participation and independent living skills training. Participants typically attend 3-5 days each week and are involved in life skills development activities such as cooking, shopping and communication. There are also regular day trips for activities that are appropriate to the individual’s level of disability and goals such as swimming and horse-riding.

Other day options models we offer also cater for people with high support needs.

Our clients can experience meaningful conversations and build comfortable and enduring connections with a caring volunteer through our Community Access and Companionship services.

Our community access services encompass

  • Regular outings to the cinema, park, beach or lake
  • Catching up with friends and relatives
  • Going out for coffee or lunch
  • Assistance with grocery and other shopping
  • Assistance with participation in sporting activities
  • Visiting the gym
  • Attending arts, drama or music classes
  • Attending religious or community events

Our community access services go beyond providing you with a volunteer for task-based assistance.

Our disability and elderly care involve a more personalized approach that connects you with volunteers who understand your unique interests, values, needs, and personality, and create meaningful experiences for you within your home, outdoors, or in the presence of your community. Your bond with your community access volunteer will keep you mentally, socially, and physically agile. It will let you pursue your interests and not let your disability affect your social behavior. Cosy Home and Community Care provide volunteers who have a high social quotient and many of our clients have shared long-term, enduring connections with them.
